I hope the one about the end of corks comes true. Screw tops seem to be much better.

However, the idea that French wine will go into decline and that Spanish wine will take its place is ludicrous. I suspect this was written after a few too many glasses of Rioja this is not to knock some of the excellent wine produced these days in Spain. But the article ignores the greatly increased care and attention being paid by French wine growers these days, particularly the younger generation. The article might have been true fifteen years ago but things have progressed since then.
